Industry Veteran to Oversee Global Supply Chain Operations
Lamb Weston Holdings has announced the appointment of Sylvia Wilks as its new Chief Supply Chain Officer. In this role, Wilks will be responsible for overseeing the company’s manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and continuous improvement departments within its global supply chain.
Bringing over thirty years of supply chain management experience, Wilks has an extensive background in the food and beverage sector, consumer packaged goods, automotive industries, and retail. Her most recent role was at REI, where she served as the inaugural Chief Supply Chain Officer. During her tenure at REI, Wilks successfully implemented supply chain initiatives that improved service standards and reduced operational costs.
Prior to REI, Wilks held prominent supply chain leadership positions at TireHub LLC—a joint venture between The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Bridgestone Americas, Inc.—as well as at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Starbucks Corporation. Her diverse experience across different sectors underscores her capability to drive significant improvements in supply chain efficiency.
