We need to quickly increase the volume of seed potatoes, because demand today exceeds supply,” Zaurbek Marzoev, director of Fat-Agro LLC, told Region 15. It should be noted that the enterprise currently grows about 20 varieties of both foreign and Russian potato selection. Approximately 15 hectares are used. The potato variety “Sadon” is included in the all-Russian register. It took 9 years for FAT-AGRO to obtain a patent for it.
