The commission considered the proposed names in the Udmurt language “Konysir”, “Gordsin” difficult for residents of other regions to remember. The names “Mystery of Udmurtia” and “Izhevchanka”, according to breeders, are more suitable for new varieties of winter wheat, which were recently bred. Now the varieties are undergoing state variety tests, and the employees are carrying out their reproduction. As a result, after discussing the proposed options, the commission settled on three that are most suitable, taking into account all the requirements for new varieties. The first grade is now called “Zanla”; the second variety was called “Zangari”, this variant had two authors, it was also offered for variety No. 1; the third is May Day. The winners will receive two certificates: on the authorship of the name of the variety, for 1 thousand rubles for the purchase of products.
