In a collaborative effort between the ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute Regional Station in Modipuram and CPRI-Agri Business Incubation, a one-day training and awareness program on “Business Opportunities in High-Tech Seed Potatoes” took place on June 25, 2024. The event drew the participation of 100 enthusiastic farmers keen on exploring the latest advancements in the field.

  • The program kicked off with an enlightening inaugural session led by Dr. Brajesh Singh, Director of CPRI, who emphasized the transformative role of high-tech seed potatoes in revolutionizing the potato industry.
  • Dr. RK Singh, Head of CPRI RS Modipuram, highlighted the importance of adopting advanced seed potato production techniques to enhance crop quality, yield, and profitability.

  • Renowned expert Er. Sukhwinder Singh shared valuable insights into the business opportunities available in seed potato production, stressing the increasing demand for high-quality seed potatoes.
