Grimme and SeedForward establish joint venture

The Dammer agricultural machinery manufacturer Grimme and the Osnabrück biotechnology company SeedForward are setting up a joint venture to break new innovative and sustainable paths in the areas of equipment and cultivation methods. In the first step, the focus is on the development of growth-promoting, biologically developed applications for potatoes, beets and various vegetables. These ensure a higher yield and can also be applied regardless of variety.

In order to efficiently and accurately feed these applications to the planting material, modern and high-performance technology is required, which Grimme brings to the joint venture. SeedForward has been very successful for years and has extensive know-how in the development and marketing of applications for maize and cereals.

“Two strong partners are taking innovative paths to provide farmers with new cultivation prospects and modern and sustainable products. We are looking forward to this partnership and will present the first products promptly after a development phase,“ said Christoph Grimme and Jacob Bussmann, Managing Directors of SeedForward.
