Agricultural producers in Primorye are sowing early cereals, corn and planting potatoes. In total, more than 480,000 hectares of various agricultural crops will be sown this year, RIA VladNews reports with reference to the press service of the government of Primorsky Krai.
Farmers have already sown 37.2 thousand hectares of early grain crops – 98% of the plan.
Corn was sown on 26.5 thousand hectares – 38% of the planned area. Also, farmers planted 1.1 thousand hectares of potatoes, which is 10% more than in 2021.
It should be noted that the farms are provided with seeds in full, the equipment for spring field work is 100% ready.
