Agrico, a leading player in the potato industry, took a significant step forward last week in solidifying its operations in Spain. Mark Zuidhof, the current CEO, along with Jan van Hoogen, the former CEO, visited the notary in Spain to officially register Mark as the sole director (“administrador único” in Spanish) of Agrico España, marking a pivotal moment for the company’s expansion strategy.
This legal transition underscores Agrico’s commitment to enhancing its presence and streamlining decision-making processes in the Spanish market. In addition to the administrative formalities, the duo also embarked on a field visit to several potato fields in the Sevilla region, accompanied by the Agrico España team.
The visit aimed to strengthen Agrico’s understanding of the local agricultural landscape and foster closer ties with growers and partners in the region. Through this hands-on approach, Agrico reaffirms its dedication to delivering high-quality potato products while supporting local farming communities.
