Maxim Kozlov, the head of a peasant (farmer) farm from the Shabalinsky district, received state support last year. He participated in the competition for the distribution of grants under the “Agrostartap” program and became one of the winners. He will direct the received three million rubles to the production of Gala and Bellarosa potatoes.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Kirov region reported that Maxim Kozlov plans to increase the area of planting crops to 14 hectares. The farmer is going to sell his products in five neighboring regions: the republics of Komi, Udmurtia, Mari El, Nizhny Novgorod and Kostroma regions.
