According to the Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, the republic has already ordered the first batch of foreign potatoes.
The official noted that the experience of Belarusian partners is very interesting for his country. In Uzbekistan, crop yields are still several times lower. They intend to test the achievements of Belarusian breeding here, and new potato varieties will be grown this season.
Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Sergey Bartosh clarified that the supply of tubers will be carried out in the coming days. The Uzbek side paid for the purchase of 20 tons of different varieties of culture. The fate of further cooperation in this area will depend on its initial results.
