Fire victims from Abansky, Bolshemurtinsky, Bogotolsky, Dzerzhinsky, Kazachinsky, Nazarovsky, Rybinsk, Uyarsky and Sharypovsky districts of the region received 27 tons of potatoes for planting. The need was formed by the administrations of the territories on the basis of applications from the victims.
Free seed material was provided by the Krasnoyarsk Agrarian University, Green World LLC of the Bogotolsky District, farmers Leonid Kraskovich from the Bolshemurtinsky District, Andrey Zotin and Natalia Ginter from the Mansky District, and Valery Sovin from the Yemelyanovsky District.
Leonid Shorokhov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government – Minister of Agriculture and Trade: “On behalf of the Governor Alexander Uss, residents of the region affected by the May fires are provided with comprehensive support. The task of the ministry is to organize the interaction of the authorities of the affected areas with agricultural producers who are ready to provide humanitarian assistance. The work is being carried out in several areas with the active participation of regional farms, food and processing industries.”
