Godrej Yummiez Crispy Potato Starz is a new vegetarian product under the Godrej Yummiez ready-to-cook brand from Godrej Tyson Foods Ltd (GTFL).
The brand-new item is a distinctive star-shaped, crispy snack manufactured with premium potatoes and innovative Individual Quick Freeze (IQF) technology, which preserves its freshness without the need for additional preservatives.
Through the use of special flash-freezing technology, each product can be frozen while still meeting the highest requirements for taste, texture, and food safety.

Our focus is now to grow the vegetarian portfolio, which currently accounts for a significant part of our overall sales. According to Godrej Yummiez’s “STTEM – Safety, Technology, Taste, Ease & Mood Uplifter” survey, almost 55% of Indians regularly consume large quantities of frozen meals as a mood enhancer.
Customers prefer frozen snacks without preservatives so they can indulge guilt-free as 65% of Indians admitted to snacking at any time.
Consumers are also worried about the misconception that frozen foods contain preservatives. According to the same study, 51% of Indians believe that frozen foods without preservatives will make them feel bad about their frequent munching.
Godrej Yummiez Crispy Potato Starz is a ready-to-cook product. It just has to be deep-fried or air-fried and served hot with ketchup on the side. This product is now available across online and offline Indian retail outlets in packs of 400 gr. and 750 gr.
