The sign of 2024 was the increase in exports of Russian table potatoes. For example, according to the results of the first half of the year, farmers sent 157 thousand tons of tubers to foreign markets. The increase compared to the previous season was 57.3 percent.
According to analysts, potato supplies to Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia have increased several times. Serbia has increased the volume of purchases many times, where 2.2 thousand tons of Russian tubers were imported in six months. During the same period last year, the republic purchased only 21 tons of these products in Russia.
