The issues of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, the supply of agricultural products produced in the Chelyabinsk region, and equipment for the industry from the PRC were discussed at the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Yekaterinburg at a meeting between Consul for Trade and Economic Affairs Zhao Junfang and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Chelyabinsk region Inna Podshivalova.
Among the issues discussed is the supply from China of equipment for processing grain crops and food production, attracting investment in the agro-industrial complex.
Also, at the initiative of the Chinese side, they discussed issues of organizing supplies from the Chelyabinsk region of organic products, products of deep processing, poultry meat and a number of grain crops to China.
Inna Podshivalova invited representatives of official and business circles of China to take part in the business program of the regional agricultural exhibition “AGRO-2022” in order to strengthen existing ties and establish new contacts.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed their intentions for further cooperation in promoting products and expanding the number of companies interested in developing mutually beneficial bilateral relations.
