Surgut will launch the production of Russian drones

stribuna.ru

The scientific and technical center “UNITI PARK” in Surgut will become one of the sites for testing unmanned vehicles in Yugra. This was reported on the website of the Surgut Tribune.

The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) will help the region develop an unmanned aerial system.

“The use of drones is important in our region. Drones will help reduce the cost, speed up the delivery of vital cargo, prevent incidents at infrastructure facilities, forest fund lands, work in the agro-industrial complex and in the military-industrial complex. The project was discussed with the company’s CEO Evgeny Ditrikh in Moscow. A subsidiary of STLC LLC Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) is ready to participate in the testing and implementation of various types of UAVs for the tasks of Yugra.”

Natalya Komarova – Governor of Yugra
The second platform for cooperation will be the industrial-production economic zone in Nyagan. It should be noted that last year drones in Ugra received a special status. The region became a participant in the state experiment: within three years, drones in Ugra will be used for various needs of the region. So, for example, in the Surgut region, at the training ground of the non-profit organization Peresvet, they are already testing unmanned aerial vehicles, and in the future, the authorities will train local teenagers to work with them.
