The Department of Agriculture and Food of the Smolensk Region summed up the results of the competition for the Agrostartup grant in 2022. Farmers, including individual entrepreneurs, as well as owners of personal subsidiary plots, could participate in the selection.
From the Gagarinsky district, a personal subsidiary farm (LPH) from the village of Pervitino participated. “Currently, 3 hectares of potatoes have been planted in full compliance with agricultural technologies – plowing, soil milling, planting potatoes with the application of herbicides. LPH presented the business plan of the Agrostartup project for defense and became the winner of the competition, ”the agro-industrial department of the Gagarinsky district administration reported.
At the moment, the potato grower has to formalize entrepreneurship. The entrepreneur must spend the received grant within 18 months, according to the development plan.
