Specialists from the Chistopol territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor (Russia’s Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection) conducted a mandatory preventive visit at the “Chisto-Fri” potato processing and canning plant. During the inspection, carried out at the request of the enterprise’s management, officials examined key areas of the facility, including the raw material warehouse, the potato washing and cleaning section, and the cold storage rooms. A significant focus was placed on evaluating the technological processing workflow and ensuring strict adherence to the principle of separating raw materials from finished products to prevent cross-contamination.
The visit confirmed that the plant operates an effective FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory system for product tracking and storage. Company employees received detailed clarifications on current requirements for personal hygiene, production control procedures, proper food labeling, and essential documentation. Furthermore, samples of the finished products were taken for laboratory analysis. The subsequent tests confirmed that all products from the “Chisto-Fri” plant fully comply with established safety and quality regulations, underscoring the facility’s commitment to high manufacturing standards.
