Automation will take center stage during RedLine Solutions’ webinar, “How to Grow Profits Through Operational Efficiencies,” on Feb. 17. The hour-long webinar will be hosted at 11 a.m. (PST). The webinar is intended for grower-shippers and distributors of fresh produce.

The webinar will begin with a discussion on what is driving change for grower shippers. The discussion will transition to automated processes and what characteristics processors may want from a software system. Other topics to be discussed include:

  • Specific elements of each area of operations that could be addressed by automation
  • A brief overview of RedLine’s software suite
  • An overview of the types of hardware that could be used in different parts of business
  • Elements that are important to take into account when selecting hardware

The webinar will close with an overview of levels of implementation, starting with automated systems to full integration and what that means to an organization.

“The purpose is to provide insight into the various levels of data automation that are available to grower shippers and distributors in order that they have a better understanding of what they could do in their operation to save them money and make their operation more efficient,” Adrian Down, marketing director for RedLine, said.

RedLine CEO Todd Baggett will be the speaker for the webinar. Baggett will also host a Q-and-A session after the webinar.
