The UK’s leading manufacturer of vegetable handling equipment is heading to Potato Expo next month to help US food producers achieve more with less.
Haith Group, which has been designing and supplying innovative solutions for farmers, packers, and food manufacturers for 75 years, was promoted its Pro-Line solution in Anaheim, California, on 5th and 6th January.
The Pro-Line modular food handling solution combines all of Haith’s class-leading machines in an incredibly effective way.
Pro-Line installations in the UK have delivered the same throughput levels as lines featuring twice as many older machines.
Rob Highfield, Sales Manager of Haith in California:
“We have spent several years developing the Pro-Line modular system, and we are delighted with what we’ve achieved.”
“By using our latest tipplers, washers, polishers, and graders along with the Tomra 3A and Newtec Celox, we have created a way for people to use half the number of machines while still enjoying the same or better efficiencies.”
“Fewer machines cost less to buy and install, take up less room, use less energy to run, and need fewer people to operate, which helps when labor shortages are so prominent at the moment.”
As well as the Pro-Line, Haith will give visitors to Potato Expo the first chance to find out about the Rota-tip PRO.
The Rota-tip PRO, which has had a patent application granted, features all-electric drives and a new mechanism to allow it to take boxes of varying heights, which are clamped to ensure they’re secure and that the contents are not spilled during the process.
Rota-tip PROHaith has also added a powered rotation lid to the new Rota-tip PRO. In previous models, the web lid is fixed, but in the latest version, the lid extends just before the tipping process starts.
To make transportation easier, the new Rota-tip PRO has a narrower footprint than previous models.
The 300mm difference means that the new Rota-tip PRO takes up less space, making it ideal for small packhouses and facilities.
