More than 880 hectares of agricultural products were harvested by the farmers of Primorsky Krai. To date, 437 hectares of early potatoes (8.9 thousand tons) and 446 hectares of vegetables (8.9 thousand tons) have been harvested.
The regional Ministry of Agriculture clarified that the yield is 204 and 192 centners per hectare. This is higher than last year’s level by 14.7 centners.
Experts note the high yield of coastal potato varieties – Kazachok, Smak, Yantar, and foreign ones – Adretta, Gala, Sante, Lilly.
At the moment, the self-sufficiency of Primorye in potatoes is 71.5%, in vegetables – about 55%.
Earlier, ABN reported that the second facility launched by Primorsky Vodokanal in 2022 – the sewage pumping station on Tatarskaya Street – was put into operation. The company emphasized that this would allow eliminating sewage outlets without treatment into the reservoir.
