From April to June 2022, the Rosselkhoznadzor controlled more than 8.2 thousand tons of young potatoes that arrived in the Moscow region from the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The first deliveries of young potatoes to the Moscow region begin in April or May. So, from the second half of April 2022, the first batches of young food potatoes began to arrive on the territory of the Moscow region, the suppliers of which are producers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Department of Rosselkhoznadzor for the city of Moscow, Moscow and Tula regions inspected more than 420 vehicles and carried out quarantine phytosanitary control in relation to more than 8.2 thousand tons of fresh young potatoes. Specialists of the All-Russian Center for Plant Quarantine (FGBU “VNIIKR”) carried out laboratory studies that confirmed the compliance of these products with quarantine phytosanitary requirements. After successfully passing the quarantine phytosanitary control procedure, young potatoes are released for free sale.
