In the Republic of Buryatia, on-site surveys of land plots where potatoes are grown took place. They were conducted by the state inspector of the territorial Rosselkhoznadzor to check how the regulations for the use of pesticides and agrochemicals in the production of agricultural products are observed.
In total, the specialist examined 11 hectares planted with potatoes in several districts of our region and took samples to determine the residual amounts of Prometrin, Metribuzin, Imidacloprid and Rimsulfuron.
According to the press service of the supervisory authority, during the inspection of agricultural land, no traces of the above substances were found, as well as their smells, and characteristic signs of oppression and wilting of vegetation. According to the results of the examinations, the maximum allowable level of pesticide residues was not established.
