The Department of Plant Sciences at North Dakota State University (NDSU) is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to investigate agronomic and environmental factors impacting potato yield and postharvest quality.
This position will take a lead in investigating management of new and/or promising new potato varieties during all aspects of potato production (plant growth, tuber initiation, tuber bulking, harvest, and storage). The successful candidate will work among a team of multidisciplinary University and ARS scientists investigating the impact of agronomic, environmental, and post-harvest management factors impacting potato market quality and potato processing quality during storage.
A successful candidate should be well trained in whole plant physiology, agronomy, soil nutrition or post-harvest biology.
