The Ministry of Agriculture will check more than 2.5 thousand subjects for compliance with land legislation.
Earlier, the President signed a decree providing for the lifting of the moratorium on inspections on land issues. The territorial subdivisions of the Committee for Land Resources Management planned inspections in relation to 2,584 subjects on an area of 7.45 million hectares, of which arable land – 585.2 thousand hectares, pastures – 6.86 million hectares.
According to the agency, 900 unscheduled inspections of land users were registered on an area of about 3 million hectares. As a result, 418 prescriptions were made for 1 million 329 thousand hectares to eliminate violations of land legislation. Since the beginning of the year, 103 unscheduled inspections have been carried out in relation to local executive bodies. It was established that 118 decisions of akimats on the provision of agricultural land were made illegally.
The total area of agricultural land in Kazakhstan is 201.9 million hectares. Of these, arable land – 26.1 million hectares, pastures – 80.6 million hectares, other – 7.3 million hectares, reserve land – 87.9 million hectares. Agricultural land provided for land use – 114 million hectares.
The ministry noted that by the end of the year it is necessary to return to the state at least 5 million hectares of “non-working” areas. Since the beginning of the year, 2 million 929 thousand hectares of agricultural land have been returned and are being finalized. This is almost 7 times more than for the entire last year, when 430 thousand hectares were returned. Work in this direction continues, assured the department.
Recall, according to the instructions of the head of state, on April 28, a working commission was formed to seize unused and issued lands in violation of the law.
