In the Vladimir region planted 50% of the norm of potatoes

It’s all about the weather. But in the profile department they do not lose hope and promise to make up for lost time.

According to Konstantin Demidov, director of the department, the sowing of early grain and leguminous crops is almost completed: 83% of all sown areas have been sown in the region. But potatoes are lagging behind – only 1400 hectares were planted out of the planned 3230 hectares. So far, the department of agriculture does not see anything critical in this. In addition, vegetables can be planted in June.

It is also noted that many farms that deal with vegetables from the “borscht set” will significantly increase their planting areas.

Konstantin Demidov stressed that there is nothing to worry about, since last year the weather was also not encouraging, but despite this, the region managed to harvest quite a decent harvest.
