In the Kostroma region, 288 families received land for growing vegetables

288 families received free land for growing vegetables and potatoes in the Kostroma region, June 15, the press service of the regional administration reports.

In 2022, 2.5 times more applications for free plots were submitted than a year earlier. 98 families took the land again.

In total, 21 hectares of free land were allocated in the Kostroma region. The applicants received seven acres of land for their garden.

“147 plots with a total area of ​​8 hectares have been allocated in the Kostroma district, 57 in the Nerekhtsky district, 23 plots in the Kadyi district. In the Ostrovsky district, 17 citizens applied for allotments, in Sudislavsky – 12, in Susaninsky – 10, in Vokhomsky – 8, in Galichsky – 7. 2 plots were allocated in Parfenevsky and Ponazyresky districts. Single appeals in the Kologrivsky, Krasnoselsky and Soligalichsky districts, ”the message says.

Recall that the program to provide residents of the Kostroma region with free land plots for growing potatoes and vegetables was developed two years ago at the initiative of the region’s governor Sergei Sitnikov.

The program helps families provide themselves with vegetables and potatoes.
