Innovative Additions to Address Dietary Preferences and Value Demand

Idaho Falls, Idaho – Idahoan Foods, the premier producer of high-quality packaged potato products in the United States, announces the expansion of its product line to cater to the growing consumer demand for value sizes and dietary-specific offerings. The new products include Idahoan Buttery Homestyle Value Size 12 oz Mashed Potatoes, Idahoan Dairy-Free Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, and Idahoan Reduced Sodium Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes.

With the mission of “Real Potatoes, Real Easy,” Idahoan Foods has leveraged its leading Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes as the foundation for these innovative additions, aiming to connect with a broader range of potato enthusiasts.

New Innovations to Meet Consumer Needs:

1. Idahoan Buttery Homestyle Value Size 12 oz Mashed Potatoes: For the first time, Idahoan offers its Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes in a 12-ounce resealable pouch. Made with 100% real Idaho potatoes and blended with real butter, this value size allows consumers to prepare all 12 servings at once or make smaller batches, resealing and saving the rest for later.

2. Idahoan Dairy-Free Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes (4 oz): With the increasing interest in plant-based foods, Idahoan introduces a dairy-free version of its popular Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes. This product, featuring plant-based ingredients, offers the same great taste as the original, catering to the 45% of plant-based consumers who plan to increase their purchase of these alternatives.

3. Idahoan Reduced Sodium Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes (4 oz): Responding to consumers’ desire to reduce sodium intake, Idahoan’s new Reduced Sodium Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes contain 30% less sodium. This product allows consumers to enjoy the convenience and flavor of Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes with lower sodium content.

“At Idahoan Foods, we feel strongly that all potato lovers, regardless of circumstances, should have easy access to the quality and convenience of our Idahoan branded potato products,” said Ryan Ellis, Vice President of Marketing at Idahoan Foods. “These new innovations are a way to make our brand easier to enjoy for more people. We are so proud to be invited to new tables across the country and have Idahoan a part of food celebrations and meal planning for more occasions and people.”
