Potatoes harvested on an area of 50 hectares. The gross harvest amounted to 1250 tons with a yield of 25.5 tons per hectare, according to the administration of the Budennovsky district.
It is noteworthy that in the agricultural enterprise “Tersky” the crop was harvested using a trailed potato harvester. Modern technology has made it possible to cope with the task with high quality, without losses and in optimal time.
Currently, the potatoes are sent to their consumers. Products are sold both in the Stavropol Territory and beyond.
Soon, agricultural enterprises will start harvesting late varieties of tubers, but for now it is in the flowering stage. Growing this crop is impossible without irrigation, so special attention is paid to timely watering.
In total, in 2022, farmland with an area of 179 hectares is allocated for different varieties of potatoes.
