GRIMME UK is celebrating the sale of the 1,000th VARITRON self-propelled harvester by offering customers the opportunity to take advantage of several sensational upgrade packages.
Introduced to the UK in 2009, the VARITRON self-propelled harvester is an incredibly popular machine, with over 200 operating in Great Britain.
To mark the milestone, GRIMME has introduced three commemorative models: The VARITRON 470 Edition 1000, VARITRON 470 Platinum TERRA TRAC Edition 1000 and an Edition 1000 two-row harvester.
Customers buying either a VARITRON 470 Edition 1000 or a VARITRON 470 Platinum TERRA TRAC Edition 1000 can opt to purchase an upgrade pack for £1,000.
The upgrade package on the VARITRON 470 Edition 1000 is worth over £13,000 and comprises a premium comfort cab, six extra LED-working lights, autopilot, Speedtronic web and Michelin MegaXBib 900/600 R32 rear left wheel.
Over £16,000 of upgrades are on offer with the VARITRON 470 Platinum TERRA TRAC Edition 1000, comprising a premium comfort cab, six extra LED working lights, autopilot, Speedtronic web and an automatic greasing system.
As well as the Edition 1000 equipment package, buyers can also opt for a special edition VARITRON 470 and VARITRON 470 Platinum TERRA TRAC. These models offer black rims, driver’s package, branded doormat, mobile phone holder and LED beacon lights free of charge!
GRIMME’s two-row VARITRONS are also available as an Edition 1000. In this case, the £1,000 payment secures upgrades worth over £14,000: a premium comfort cab, six extra LED working-lights, autopilot, Speedtronic web and an automatic greasing system.
“Originally launched at Agritechnica in 2007, ‘Winning Machine of the Year’ in 2008, and with more than 200 operating in the UK, it is clear that our self-propelled harvesters are incredibly popular,” says Patrick Graf Grote, Managing Director at GRIMME UK. “We are delighted to be able to celebrate the sale of the 1,000th VARITRON with the launch of this special promotion and the availability of the Edition 1000 models. For people considering buying a self-propelled harvester for the first time or for upgrading their current model, there has never been a better time to do so!”
The 1,000th VARITRON was sold to a potato grower in March 2021.
GRIMME’s self-propelled harvesters offer an exceptional combination of performance, driving comfort and manoeuvrability.
The company’s VARITRON 2-row and 4-row self-propelled harvesters can be equipped with a wide range of different separators. Both versions offer a high degree of manoeuvrability thanks to their wheel chassis, which are fitted with large-volume tyres for soil protection.
GRIMME has also incorporated several features to automate the harvesting process, all of which can be conveniently controlled from the cabin.
