Expanding Horizons: Dewulf Ventures Further into the Dutch Heartlands

Dewulf, the renowned Belgian agricultural machinery powerhouse, is set to broaden its production horizons with an expansion project in Winsum. The agreement, inked at the end of 2023 between CEO Hendrik Decramer of Dewulf Group and Jetze Lont, director of Lont BV, marks a significant stride forward for both entities.

Following over a year of meticulous planning and design efforts by Lont’s pre-project team for Agriculture and Industry, a fitting blueprint has been crafted and budgeted for the endeavor.

The projected kickoff for the venture is slated for the autumn of 2024, pending the approval of necessary permits by the Waadhoeke municipality.

Dewulf, originally a Belgian enterprise specializing in mechanizing the potato sector, solidified its standing in the agricultural machinery realm with the acquisition of Miedema in 2014. This strategic move firmly entrenched Dewulf Group among the global elite of farm equipment manufacturers.

Expressing pride in securing this prestigious contract, Jetze Lont extends gratitude to Dewulf Group for their unwavering confidence.

Notable Figures Involved:

  • Auke Bangma (Lont BV, Sales)
  • Jetze Lont (Lont BV, CEO)
  • Hendrik Decramer (Dewulf, CEO)
  • Jos Huisman (Dewulf, Project Manager – Construction)
  • Bram de Vries (Dewulf, Plant Manager)

The collaborative effort between Dewulf and Lont BV signifies a union of expertise and ambition, promising a venture poised to leave a significant mark on the agricultural landscape. As Dewulf embarks on this expansion journey into the Dutch heartlands, it underscores their commitment to innovation and service in meeting the evolving needs of farmers and agricultural professionals worldwide.
