Drift reduction? Syngenta offers tips to maximize efficacy

Plant protection products should end up where they belong. Drift must be reduced to maximum. To help growers in a good application, Syngenta has developed the action “Go Low – Go Slow – Get covered”.

  • Go Low: Boom height handling of 50 cm above ground or crop
  • Go Slow: 8 km/hr is a fine speed to apply plant protection products
  • Get Covered: Spray with 90% drift reducing nozzles and spray with sufficient water (200 l/ha)

Syngenta offers tips to reduce drift (English / Dutch)Visit the syngenta website www.syngenta.be for more information and ask 2 free “tie-wraps” to help you get the right boom height or visit Syngenta at the Interpom
