Chinese potatoes have arrived in Primorye again. These are the first deliveries in a year; earlier, China suspended the export of this vegetable from areas in which there was a quarantine, RIA Vladnews reports with reference to the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor specialists, the total mass of potatoes allowed for import into the region for the period from May 18 to May 21 amounted to a little more than 119.5 tons.
This is not the last delivery, the department added, another 250 tons of potatoes are being examined, and soon they will be allowed to be imported.
Recall that the coastal companies have been trying to get the opportunity to supply potatoes from China since the beginning of 2022.
