The head of the peasant (farm) economy from Serebryanye Prudy was given a plot of about 17 hectares for free use for growing potatoes, grains and legumes. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region Anna Krotova.
“Two months ago, applications began to be accepted under the new preferential program “Moscow Region 10 Hectares”, initiated by Governor Andrei Vorobyov, for the provision of land plots owned by state or municipal property for free use for the development of the agricultural sector. During this time, 3 farmers received land with a total area of more than 140 hectares for the development of agribusiness. One of them is the head of the peasant (farm) economy, Alexander Markin from Serebryanye Prudy. On the land provided under the state program with an area of about 17 hectares, the farmer will grow potatoes, grains and legumes. Currently, the process of obtaining land under the program has been simplified: it has become possible to select a land plot on the interactive map of the Geoportal of the Moscow Region, and an application for obtaining land can be submitted remotely using the regional portal of the State Services,” Krotova said.
It is noted that Alexander Markin started farming 17 years ago in the village of Petrovo, Serebryano-Prudsky district. The farmer owns and uses 24 hectares of agricultural land. All these years, Alexander Petrovich has been growing potatoes and grain crops, has a complete set of agricultural equipment for growing agricultural products.
“I have been farming for many years, my wife, daughter and son-in-law help in the work. This year, with the support of the administration, he acquired a land plot in the village of Petrovo to organize a repair base and a potato store. And thanks to the regional program “Podmoskovnye 10 ha” I will be able to further expand my business,” says Alexander Markin.
We remind you that the land is provided to farmers for free use from 10 to 200 hectares, depending on the type of activity, for up to 6 years.
“A mandatory condition is that the land should be used specifically for the development of agribusiness: for breeding small cattle for dairy and meat and dairy purposes, as well as for vegetable growing, horticulture, beekeeping, and crop production. In total, more than 1,000 hectares have been selected for these purposes in three municipalities. Having selected the desired site using the Geoportal of the Moscow Region, the applicant applies to the regional portal of public services and fills out an application electronically. All the necessary procedures up to registration – the Ministry takes over,” explained the Minister of Property Relations of the Moscow Region Natalya Adigamova.
