In view of the current challenges in international agriculture and the resulting pressure to innovate and invest, the importance of Agritechnica as the world’s leading information and business platform and its indispensable role in international agribusiness cannot be overstated, according to Agritechnica’s exhibitor advisory board of VDMA Agricultural Machinery and DLG (German Agricultural Society). Around 2,000 exhibitors are expected at Agritechnica in Hanover and 90 percent of the exhibition space has already been booked.
•”Together with the exhibitors without whom this success would not have been possible, DLG has made Agritechnica into the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery that it is today. In hardly any other industry are companies, customers and organizations so closely networked as in agriculture. Agritechnica is therefore an indispensable event for agribusiness companies. We are inviting our national and international customers, dealers and partners to Hanover to meet them in person. The in-person communication is essential for us.”

“Safe Business” for meetings at the highest level
The professional concept of Agritechnica 2022, which has been adapted to the new framework in which trade fairs can take place again, has been rated as very good by Agritechnica’s exhibition advisory board. The event offers an optimal environment for the global business platform for international visitors. A current international survey of visitors supports this assessment. Already six months ahead of the world’s leading trade fair, 94 percent of those surveyed are considering visiting the event. 58 percent are already certain that they will visit Agritechnica next year. Visitors also support planned measures such as the corona “3G” concept, which in Germany means allowing access only for vaccinated, tested or recovered people, according to the latest survey results from the recently published Agritechnica Tracker that regularly monitors visitor intentions.
“A clear and flexible framework for exhibitors along with self-explanatory steps for visitors – from buying tickets to visiting the trade fair – will enable exhibitors and visitors from both Germany and abroad to meet up live in Hanover again. In this way, we are enabling top-level international meetings to take place once more in 2022,” says Freya von Czettritz, Agritechnica Project Manager.
