A very successful 2022 edition for the medFEL show

The results are very satisfactory for this 2022 edition of the medFEL show: a large number of visitors and 200 exhibitors present. This edition was the occasion for numerous business meetings and made it possible to highlight innovative products/services and to present the sectors of the future, but also to discuss the new challenges to which the sector must respond.

According to the organizers, the medFEL 2022 show (April 27-28) received 3,151 professional visitors who came to meet the 200 exhibitors present who represented the entire Fruits & Vegetables sector: producers, processors, suppliers, distributors, transport and logistics, services.

The show is a privileged place for meetings between all the players in the sector, 1030 business meetings took place during this 2022 edition. Many buyers and distributors from various countries (Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Ivory Coast , Denmark, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Nigeria, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Senegal, Slovakia, Sweden, Tunisia) came to meet French producers thus opening up new export horizons for them.

Innovation was a major theme with Lab’Innov by medFEL, a real space for innovation, which made it possible to highlight innovative products and/or services in terms of sustainable development, CSR, eco-responsibility, circular economy, zero-waste, ecological initiatives or even technological eco-innovations. Another important theme: the sectors of the future. For this first at the show, presentations on the nut sectors – almonds, walnuts, chestnuts and oilseeds – lentils.

The event also included many debates and round tables which attracted a large audience around topical issues. Of course, as usual, medFEL was the opportunity to announce the European apricot harvest forecasts, as well as the anticipation of melon plantations.
