Elea is introducing a new compact, all-in-one PEF solution for smaller production lines
On 14th May, 2020, Elea ran a successful online PEFinar on PEF for snacks and dried fruits. The online session was recorded and can be viewed at any time on the Elea website. Nearly 300 persons registered to find out how PEF works and how it improves chips and dried fruit.
The Elea PEF Advantage Belt systems improve product quality and yield whilst reducing processing costs. Raw materials treated with Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) are easier to cut or slice and show less breakage. PEF application allows to shorten drying or frying time and temperature and reduces undesired quality changes.
In the PEFinar, Elea outlines all these benefits and introduce the PEF Advantage B 1 and the new B 1 mini system, specially designed for smaller production lines with a capacity between 1 and 6 t/h. The compact all-in-one design with small footprint allows easy line integration and start-up and provides new product development opportunities. Benefit from a quick return of investment due to increased product yield and low energy usage.
Elea Managing Director Stefan Töpfl and Elea Scientific Engineer Kevin Hill guide the audience through how PEF works, perform a live demonstration and discuss process benefits first hand. A Q&A session at the end of the session allowed addressing any open questions.
