Next week a new stage of the International Potato Tour (IPT) begins. Over the coming month, the project team will travel across the countries of the South Caucasus and Turkey to explore the potato industry in these regions.
The purpose of this expedition is to document how potatoes are grown, stored, processed, and marketed in different countries while connecting farmers, agronomists, processors, and industry experts across borders.
During the trip, the team will visit farms, storage facilities, and agricultural enterprises and conduct interviews with growers, company leaders, and specialists working in the potato sector. The expedition will highlight modern technologies, regional practices, and the challenges faced by producers in different climatic and economic conditions.
All materials from the journey will be published as video reports, interviews, and short documentary episodes on the POTATOES NEWS platforms.
