Spots with bleached appearance on leaves caused by a mixture of pesticides and nutrients
applied in hot and humid weather.
Top-dressed nitrogen fertilizers often burn foliage if applied when the weather is hot and humid. This is most likely to affect the growing point or newly
developing leaves, where granules of nitrogen may be trapped.
