According to Ivanovostat, as of July 1, 2022, 43.4 thousand hectares were sown with spring crops (the harvest will be this year) in the Ivanovo region. This is 1.6 percent more than last year. Of these, 32.1 thousand hectares are agricultural organizations, 11.2 thousand hectares are farmers, 0.1 thousand hectares are the population.
Potatoes were planted on 4.4 thousand hectares, which is 6.9 percent less than last year. Of these: agricultural organizations – 0.3 thousand hectares, farmers – 0.7 thousand hectares, population – 3.4 thousand hectares.
Vegetables were planted on 1.5 thousand hectares, which is 3.6 percent more than last year. Of these: agricultural organizations – 0.3 thousand hectares, farmers – 0.2 thousand hectares, population – 1 thousand hectares.
