Land samples will be collected three times.
Tyumen scientists for the first time took soil samples in Salekhard for potato phytopathogens. The Yamal agricultural experimental station was included in the all-Russian scientific project for monitoring soil conditions. The field was studied, the geopositions of five control points were determined. The fence was made from several depths using a special technique.
Land samples will be collected three times. Now – during the planting period, in July – during the growing season and in September, when the harvest will be.
What kind of soil do we have in general – in terms of acidity, humidity, moisture capacity. And also we will extract RNA and DNA and find out what phytopathogens, phytopathogenic organisms are in the soil and affect the potato itself.
