G&G LED has designed a new series of LED luminaires specifically for use within demanding commercial food environments. This includes the wet, harsh conditions found in widespread food preparation, processing and storage applications.
“Many existing LED fixtures are big and bulky,” said Jason Baright, president of G&G LED. “Our lighting is not only easy-to-install and ideal for extreme environments such as cold storage lockers, it has a streamlined, low-profile design that provides uniform lighting output from the tightest of spaces. In addition, all of our LED lighting is designed with the latest technologies to ensure the highest-quality efficiencies available in today’s marketplace.”
NSF Certified for use in restaurants, food processing centers and storage facilities, the WPX Series offers an eco-friendly, long-lasting and extremely durable alternative for cost-effectively lighting extreme hot and cold conditions, according to the company. The WPX Series was also designed to eliminate the need for hardwiring, while facilitating the placement of hundreds of fixtures in both indoor and outdoor applications.
According to the company, WPX Series benefits include:
- Seamless shell for IP68 ingress protection & exceptional UV/chemical resistance
- Embedded aluminum heat sink for operation in cold and hot environments (patent-pending)
- Full line of colors and beam-forming options (optics)
- High lumen density in a remarkably slim and low-profile fixture
In the upcoming months, G&G LED is expected to introduce other WPX Series upgrades such as enhanced dimming support for use with occupancy and daylight sensors; a C1D2 rating for operation in hazardous locations; and a jumperless (end-to-end) fixture coupling option.
