A grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of Komi was received by Nikita Karpov for the creation of a peasant farm for growing potatoes.
The Agrostartup grant in the amount of 2 million 218 thousand rubles is planned to be used to purchase agricultural machinery and equipment for growing potatoes in the village of Glotovo.
According to him, this year potato planting will be carried out on rented equipment, seed material will be purchased. The fields are being plowed.
The main goal of the project is to create new jobs and attract labor during the period of planting, weeding and harvesting potatoes, obtaining stable wages, creating profitable agricultural production and developing crop production in the Udora region, meeting the demand of the local population for potatoes of good quality and at an affordable price.
Agricultural machinery will be purchased from AgroSpetsMekhanika LLC.
Produced potatoes will be sold in Trade House “Yukon” LLC and other retail outlets in the Udora region.
According to the head of the Udora district, Nikolai Zhilin, there are plans to conclude contracts for the supply of potatoes with budgetary institutions.
“As a source of additional income, it is planned to provide plowing and hilling services to citizens who have a personal subsidiary plot in the village of Glotovo,” the head of the municipality added.
