Potato sowing is taking place throughout the Pskov region. About five hundred and fifty hectares have already been planted. Only in the agricultural enterprise Podlipie in the Opochets district, they plan to plant fourteen hectares of potatoes of the Krona and Manifesto varieties. And although May does not please with warm weather, farmers are confident that they will complete the sowing season on time and are waiting for a good harvest.
