Google, one of the world’s Big Tech companies, recently gave away for free to its Japanese clients 10,000 bags of crispy finish, freshly made Hokuhoku, special edition potato chips.
The potato chips bags came with a special design that matches the rear of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro mobile phones. The goodie bags were claimed for free, via an online form, with all the Pixel 6 potato chips having been redeemed very fast.
This innovative Google campaign was meant to help advertise its next flagship phone around the world. In Japan, the Big Tech company offered “Google Original (Potato) Chips” to highlight the new Tensor SoC in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Tensor – the first consumer system on a chip (SoC) – is Google’s first custom-built SoC specifically for its flagship phones, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Before the launch of the company’s first smartphone equipped with genuine chips, Google has prepared “genuine chips” that allow their clients to experience its appeal as soon as possible.
Google Original Chips came in five color designs and “Googley Salty Flavor”. The lucky owners of these chips even had the chance to get their names printed in the bottom-right corner.
