The Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy has issued soft loans to businessmen in the amount of 65.7 million manats since the beginning of the year, the Fund said.
These funds were used to finance 1,589 investment projects.
According to the information, more than 96% of loans issued were directed to the production and processing of agricultural products, 2.5% – production and processing of industrial products, 0.4% – tourism, 0.8% – services, medicine and other areas.
In addition, more than 70% of the amount of loans issued were directed to the production and processing of agricultural products, about 15% – the production and processing of industrial products, 2% – tourism, over 12% – other areas.
Medical loan
So far, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy has issued preferential loans in the amount of 35.6 million manat to finance 82 projects to develop the medical sector. Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his Twitter account.
According to him, the Avicenna Medical Center LLC operating in the city of Lankaran received AZN 190,000 from the Fund last year to expand medical activities.
