Vegetable growers in the region are close to completing harvesting operations. So, for today, local farmers have already dug up 17.1 thousand tons of potatoes, having fulfilled the plan by 83.3 percent. At the same time, 1,131 thousand hectares of land were processed.
At the same time, 2,881 thousand tons of white cabbage were harvested in the Tomsk region. The harvest of carrots amounted to 400 tons, table beet – 731 tons.
The leaders of agricultural production, the first to finish harvesting, were farmers of Bakcharsky, Kolpashevsky, Krivosheinsky and Molchanovsky districts.
