We invite you to take part in the 11th International Scientific and Practical Forum “Modern methods of producing seed potatoes: quality regulations, new promising domestic varieties.” This will take place on August 15 and 16, 2024 in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (Vladikavkaz) on the basis of FAT-Agro LLC (Bavaria Group of Companies).

More than 200 enterprises from more than 50 regions are regular participants in the event Russian Federation, as well as from other countries such as India, Vietnam, China, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Participants will become familiar with modern methods of clonal micropropagation and production of assay material, technologies for growing minitubers, various aspects of the original production of seed potatoes in the high mountain zone, modern technologies for storage, sorting and packaging of seed potato sets.
New selected high-potential and most popular breeds will be presented at the demonstration site both in Russia and in foreign countries.
Seminar participants will visit nurseries where original generations of seeds are grown.
Potatoes are grown in high mountain zones. They will also visit production plantings of super-elite and elite potatoes of FAT-Agro LLC.
The program also includes a meeting at which key topics will be discussed:
- Development of the potato production sector in the Russian Federation.
- Promising technologies in seed production from in vitro microplants to elite seeds.
- Development of potato breeding and seed production in the Russian Federation.
