In January-February 2022, Belarus exported nearly 50 thousand tons of potatoes worth $15,984.3 thousand. Russia became the main buyer of the products.
As for last year, Belarus exported 242,000 tons of potatoes, earning $67,724.9 thousand on this, the Belarusians and the Market writes. The main buyers of domestic potatoes: Russia (65,243.9 thousand dollars), Ukraine (1,210.7 thousand dollars), Uzbekistan (696.2 thousand dollars). Small batches of potatoes were also bought by Kazakhstan, Moldova and Tajikistan.
Imports last year amounted to 33,599 tons worth $11,742.4 thousand. Belarus purchased potatoes from Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and the Netherlands. There were deliveries from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Georgia, Egypt, France, North Macedonia, Finland.
