The farms of the Votkinsk, Zavyalovsky and Vavozhsky districts have already planted 800 hectares with potatoes. The plan for this year is to master 6600 hectares. It should be noted that thanks to the association of peasant farms of Udmurtia, the republic was able to send 5 tons of seed potatoes to the Donbass as part of humanitarian aid.
As for other vegetables from the so-called “borscht set”, they are grown in almost all regions of Udmurtia. In 2022, taking into account the personal farms of residents, they will be planted on an area of more than 3 thousand hectares. “We will provide ourselves with vegetables by more than 80%,” said the head of Udmurtia.
