How to produce quality products at affordable prices – this issue was discussed by the heads of the Far Eastern regions. The experience of the Amur region in terms of food self-sufficiency was presented by Vasily Orlov.
“In the Amur Region, six types of products are produced, according to which food security is assessed: grain, vegetable oil, meat, milk, potatoes, vegetables and melons. At present, the level of provision of the region, taking into account the import of missing products, is 100%,” the governor said. Three dairy farms are currently being built in the region, and farms growing potatoes and other vegetables are receiving support.
In our region, there are no interruptions in the supply of products, the assortment in stores has not changed, and there is no hype for any products.
The head of the region proposed to increase the share of reimbursement of costs to those who invested in the creation of livestock complexes, growing vegetables and building vegetable stores. This will accelerate the development of enterprises.
In addition, he spoke in favor of a fixed single price for Russian-made agricultural machinery, or setting a zero tariff for the Far East for the delivery of agricultural machinery and equipment, with subsequent reimbursement of costs for Russian Railways.
