Microsoft has teamed up with chip-maker Pringles for a new flavor of potato chip: Moa Burger. The name comes from the flightless bird indigenous to the planet Reach (and also the name of an extinct species of bird here on Earth), from the popular video game ‘Halo – Reach’.
In the Halo fiction, Moa were a source of food on Reach, and were served in wing, nugget, and burger form. Pringles’ new Moa Burger aims to approximate what a quadruple hamburger made of ground space bird, plus cheese, pickles, lettuce, onions, and an unidentified sauce, would taste like.
Pringles’ Wavy Moa Burger chips are only available for a limited time, and sold exclusively at Walmart
